We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc turner in Bremer County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Six days a week, one day off.
