Floor screeder wanted in Derby

Great opportunity: we are hiring a floor screeder in Derby, England. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
