Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Henry County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
