Turning centre operator • Washington County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Washington County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Part-time with flexible hours.
