On a typical shift you will erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits. You should have: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
