Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Vermilion County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
