Stainless steel welder wanted in Dunn County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Dunn County, Wisconsin. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
