Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Yuma County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Yuma County, Arizona. You will work on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
