We are recruiting: glass and glazing technician (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. The role involves cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Own basic hand tools an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred.
