Argon welder wanted in Tafawa-Balewa

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Tafawa-Balewa, Bauchi State. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 6+ years on the tools preferred.
