Concrete labourer • Burke County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Burke County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
