Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Seminole County, Georgia. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
