The role involves: • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean You should have: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
