Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Lexington County, South Carolina. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 3+ years on the tools preferred.
