Join our team: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Surry County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves • Replace worn washers, seals and float valves • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
