Sand plant operator wanted in Grant County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Grant County, North Dakota. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
