Single needle operator wanted in City of Bristol

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in City of Bristol, Virginia. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time, day shift.
