Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
