Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Awka South, Anambra State. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
