We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Fentress County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
