Brick mason — Gage County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Gage County, Nebraska. The job is at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
