Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Lexington County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
