Lift technician wanted in New Kent County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in New Kent County, Virginia. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
