Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Sierra County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
