Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Inverclyde, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Overtime paid at a premium rate.
