Vacancy available: domestic gas engineer (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Ellsworth County, Kansas. The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 3+ years on the tools preferred. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
