Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Morgan County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions 6+ years on the tools preferred.
