Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Howard County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
