Vacancy available: finishing presser (Arizona)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Six days a week, one day off.
