Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Sibley County, Minnesota. The job is at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 6+ years on the tools preferred.
