Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Charleston County, South Carolina. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
