You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods On the job you will handle: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun 2+ years on the tools preferred.
