Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Giles County, Tennessee. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
