Join our team: we are hiring a safety marshal in Santa Cruz County, California. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
