Urgent requirement: shakeout operator (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Quitman County, Mississippi. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
