Join our team: we are hiring a marble mason in Northumberland, England. You will work on a hotel and villa renovation project. What we are looking for: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Your main tasks: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
