We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part 5+ years on the tools preferred.
