We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in New Castle County, Delaware. The job is in a spray booth. On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
