Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Taylor County, Iowa. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
