Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Adams County, Ohio. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
