Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a power plant. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
