Immediate opening: garment machinist (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Sarasota County, Florida. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
