Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Warrington, England. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves 3+ years on the tools preferred.
