Join our team: commercial refrigeration engineer (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Wright County, Iowa. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
