Immediate opening: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects The role involves: • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
