Mobile tyre fitter wanted in Dutchess County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile tyre fitter in Dutchess County, New York. The job is in a fast-fit workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Rotating shifts.
