Vacancy available: brick and block layer (Scotland)

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £17 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
