Finishing presser — Oceana County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Oceana County, Michigan. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
