Frame straightening technician — City of Emporia

Now hiring: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Requirements: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) The role involves: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
