Health and safety supervisor — Chemung County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Chemung County, New York. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Six days a week, one day off.
